MetaTag Generator

This is NOT just another METATAG Generator. Use this to create a comprehensive set of METATAGS for your site. Create a unique set for each page of your site for the best search engine saturation.


Add the Metatag set in between the <Head> and </Head> Tags

Title:

"Title": Typically this should be two or three words that best describe the site's content in some way. Titles should be 65 characters max length.

Author (email):

"Author email": This would be the email of the person who designed or developed the web page.

Owner (email):

"Owner email": This would be the email of the person who designed or developed the web page.

Subject:

"Subject": This would be the nature of the site in one word i.e "Advertising", "Computers" etc..

Rating:

   1. 14 yrs: safe for audience above 14 yrs
   2. General: safe for audience of any age
   3. Mature: must be viewed by audience above 18 yrs
   4. Restricted: must be viewed by audience above 21 yrs
   5. Safe for kids: safe for audience below 14 yrs

Description:

"Description": This is the paragraph that best describes the content or category of your web page. Max character length should be 255.

Keywords:

"Keywords": These are the words that best describe the content of your page. Keywords can be individual words or 2 to 3 word phrases separated by a comma.

Revisit After 'n' Days:

This is your robot instruction tag for reindexing your web page. You can control the intervals with this tag. This can be 7 days, 15 days, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 120 days, 150 days, 180 days, or 365 days. It is recommended to not choose an interval lower than 30 days.

Language:

Typically, this indicates to the browser what language the web page should be displayed in.

Copyright:

Typically, this would be the name of your Company, or the name of the copyright owner.

COMPANY FORMAT EXAMPLE:  Dome Design & Company Ltd.
COPYRIGHT OWNER FORMAT EXAMPLE:  John Q. Public

Robots:

This tells the search engine which pages should be indexed. Typically these commands are as follows:

1. ALL (Index all pages associated in that domain.)
2. INDEX, FOLLOW (Index this page and follow all links.)
3. INDEX, NOFOLLOW (Index this page but do not follow or index links on this page.)
4. NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW (Do not index this page. Do not follow or index links on this page.)

Browser Cache:

Check to disable.

This would instruct a browser to save visited pages on the user's Hard drive in order to accelerate later retrieval and surfing.

Auto-Refresh Timer:

This instructs a browser to refresh the page at determined intervals. Useful if your site contains regularly updated info.

Then use Control-C to copy the text into your web page.
