Add to your Favorites

Make it easy for visitors browsing with Internet Explorer to add your site to their list of Favorites. This powerful and simple marketing concept is often overlooked by many webmasters. The "AddFavorite" method in Internet Explorer version 4.0 and later produces a dialog box allowing users to easily add a site's URL and name to their Favorites. This method accepts two JavaScript arguments: The URL and an optional site name. If no site name is specified, the title of the Favorite will default to the URL, although the user still has the option of entering a name in the dialog box.
